Twyla Campbell, Restaurant Reviewer, Food Writer
Twyla Campbell is CBC Edmonton Radio’s long-standing restaurant reviewer (since 2010). She is a seasoned traveller, an adventurous eater, an oenophile and a freelance writer who has written those topics for newspapers, magazines and websites for 14 years and counting.
Her book, Maps, Markets and Matzo Ball Soup: the inspiring life of Chef Gail Hall was released in October 2018 and debuted at No. 1 on the Book Publisher Association of Alberta’s Best Seller Nonfiction list.
Twyla is a sought-after panelist, and cocktail and culinary judge with past and present positions on Avenue Magazine’s yearly “Best Of” editions, the Vacay Top 50 Restaurants list, Canada’s 100 Best Restaurants, and the Great Kitchen Party (previously known as Gold Medal Plates).
She is www.EatNorth.com’s primary Edmonton and Okanagan food writer, has completed WSET II, and proudly supports conscientious food growers who practice sustainable food production.
