For Owen Petervine, bread brings people together. From farm to mill to bakery to consumers, bread is, by nature, communal. Beginning baking as his first job out of high school, small town boy, Owen, also ran his own bakery for eight years. Now he is the proprietor of Edmonton’s Prairie Mill Bread Co. and his specialty is sourdough.
