The Flavours of Vietnam. A Date Night Cooking Class

Get Cooking

Inspired by her recent visit to Vietnam and her upcoming culinary tour in October, 2020, Kathryn will be taking you through a menu that recreates and reinterprets her most memorable culinary experiences. We’ll be starting with a herbacious and delicious Crab & Pomelo Salad. Then you’ll each make your own Banh Xeo, our favourite Asian Pancake, served wrapped in rice paper with greens and Nuoc Mam Cham. Next we’ll be cooking up Hanoi’s famous Cha Ca La Vong, Fish with Turmeric and Dill, as well as a Pork Rib Broth, slow cooked with dried squid and aromatics then finished with rice noodles and fresh herbs. We hope that you will join us for this tasty and flavourful class, our interpretation of the Taste of Vietnam.

This class is not suitable for vegetarian diets or for those with seafood allergies, but gluten-free substitutions are available on request.

Class Fee: $139 per person, plus GST. Your Fee Includes: a 4-hour class, a full meal with wine pairings and a recipe pack to take home.
