We are delighted to welcome Karen Anderson, proprietor of Alberta Food Tours and co-author of “A Spicy Touch. Family Favourites from Noorbanu Nimji’s Kitchen”, for this class featuring a menu of recipes from Karen and Noorbanu’s book. We will welcome you with a salad of Shaved Fennel and Cumin, topped with Jeera Prawns. Then together we’ll make some homemade buttermilk Paneer, and use it in Karen’s Palak Paneer.  We’ll also be working on a succulent  Butter Chicken, scented with Fenugreek leaves, served with Saffron Rice. And as if that’s not enough Karen will cook with you Bharazi, a pigeon pea curry, to go with the Mika Mimini, Indian coconut and rice bread she’ll have made for you. Then for dessert, Karen will be teaching you how to make Date Halva, served with a refreshing Mango Kulfi.
