Sausages From Around The World. With Elyse Chatterton

Get Cooking

Join our own in-house Butcher Elyse Chatteron, member of the Canadian Team for the World Butcher Challenge taking place in Sacramento in September 2020, for this special class on making sausages. We’ll be starting with a look at the equipment you will need and some pointers on where to buy it. Then we’ll launch into how to grind your own meats before we teach you some of our favourite recipes, including an English Cumberland Sausage, a North African Merguez and a Spanish Chorizo. We’ll also take a look at the ratios required if you’d like to design your own sausages, and we’ll even make some of Elyse’s delicious Sausage Rolls!

This class is not suitable for vegetarian diets but gluten-free substitutions are available on request.

Class Fee: $115 per person, plus GST. Your Fee Includes: a 3-hour class including a full meal with paired drinks, and a recipe pack to take home.

CANCELLATION POLICY: If you need to cancel your booking you must do so no less than 14 days prior to the date of your class in order to receive a refund. Cancellations within 2 weeks of a class will not be refunded or rescheduled.
