Kathryn’s Ricotta Gnocchi are an all time favourite in our chef’s table cooking classes. And now you can learn to make them from your home as well. Kathryn will teach you how to prepare your Gnocchi dough, then how to roll and cut it. Plus you’ll learn how to make two our fast and easy Cherry Tomato Sauce, featuring locally grown cherry tomatoes and basil. And of course we’ll walk you through how to cook, sauce and serve your gnocchi (or how to freeze them and cook them from frozen).
We invite you to use our recipes to shop and follow along during your virtual class, or alternatively to sit back and watch whilst taking notes. During your class Shannon will be on hand on Chat to answer any questions you have, while Kathryn cooks.
* We will be discussing potential substitutions for ingredients during your class
Ingredients for Ricotta Gnocchi*: ricotta cheese, Parmesan cheese, “00” or all-purpose flour, garlic, lemon zest, egg yolks
Ingredients for Cherry Tomato Sauce*: cherry tomatoes, extra-virgin olive oil, basil leaves
Class Fee: $15 plus GST. Your Fee Includes: A 45-minute virtual cooking class plus a recipe pack including info on equipment needed. Upon purchase, your meeting ID and password will be included in your Event Confirmation email – please be sure to save this information as you will need it to join your class.
Software Requirement: We are using Zoom for our virtual classes. If you aren’t already using Zoom you can download their free app for Windows, Mac, Android or Apple iOS here. Your meeting ID and password will be sent by email an hour before your class.

Once downloaded Zoom will help you set up your free account then you’re ready to join us. Zoom will prompt you and ask for permission to use your devices camera and audio, please accept the requests. Once logged in click “Join” from the home page and enter your Meeting ID, which will be sent to you by email with your recipes.
