Join Elyse and learn how to make her delicious French Meringue, then how to shape it into some creepily tasty treats for your Halloween celebration. Elyse will show you how to create your own cute but spooky meringue Ghosts, as well as her ghoulish Bones, drizzled with Raspberry Coulis ‘Blood’! With or without kids, our Morbid Meringues are a great way to make your own Halloween treats this year.
Ingredients for Raspberry “Blood” Coulis*: 450g raspberries, 1/2 small lemon, 3 tbsp icing sugar, salt
Ingredients for French Meringue*: 4 large egg whites, 225 g sugar, salt, candy eyes (available at Bulk Barn, Real Canadian Superstore and Michael’s – or you can pipe melted chocolate eyes after the meringues have cooked & cooled), chocolate for eyes and mouth (optional)
* Please note that we will be discussing potential substitutions for ingredients during your class.
Class Fee: $20.00 plus GST (pricing is per device and allows multiple participants to attend using a single device). What’s Included: A 60 minute virtual cooking class including a virtual recipe pack with info on equipment needed. Your recipes will be delivered in advance, so you can shop for ingredients and cook along with us during your class if you wish.
Software Requirement: We are using Zoom for our virtual classes. If you aren’t already using Zoom you can download their free app for Windows, Mac, Android or Apple iOS here. Upon purchase, your meeting ID and password will be included in your Event Confirmation email – please be sure to save this information as you will need it to join your class.

Once downloaded Zoom will help you set up your free account then you’re ready to join us. Zoom will prompt you and ask for permission to use your devices camera and audio, please accept the requests. Once logged in click “Join” from the home page and enter your Meeting ID, which will be sent to you by email with your recipes.
